GENCON is a gaming convention that is held once a year that has over 49,000 attendees. Attending a convention is lots of fun. Lots of interesting things to learn, classes, seminars, and other events to attend. But all those people and all those germs. What can a person do to stay healthy?
Washing hands frequently and using hand gel is one way to keep the germs down. Daily bathing and fresh clothes are another way to keep the germs from creating genealogy trees by the end of the week that show’s several crusades on your immune system have taken place.
Drinking lots of water is a huge help. Staying hydrated while at a convention is hard because your focus is on the games, the adventure, and making it to the next level. You waited all year for this but do not let taking rehydration breaks stop you from gaming. Carry water bottles with you.
Gaming 24/7 should not stop your energy level either. Go ahead and take in those vitamins and minerals in that weird form called vegetables and fruits. Those vitamins will keep you gaming longer than your fellow comrades.
Sleep. What is that? It is when you close your eyes and dream of dragons stealing your gold. Well, that could be a night terror for some, but try to get as close to 6-8 hours of sleep will keep you focused on the game, very important when your dice do not have your six.
