One Thanksgiving idea with four solutions
Prayer and giving thanks. This can be a problem with multiply religious families. There are several ways many families give thanks and no one is wrong. Families may choose several ways to give to proceed.
1. The youngest child may be asked to say a prayer or grace that was learned.
2. The oldest family member may be asked to lead everyone in prayer.
3. The family may go around the table and each person mentions what they are thankful for that year or blessing they wish to share. J Sometimes this is when special announcements or secrets slips out, like there is going to be another member of the family for next year.
4. Then when no idea what to do or say, just bow the head or close the eyes for a few moments and allow everyone to say what is meaningful in their hearts.
Remember, while this is one dinner a year to show appreciation and get together, it is still okay to do this the other 364 days a year too.
