Flu Time Cleaning
Flu season is ramping up fast. Keep drinking water, getting rest, and taking fever reducing medications as needed. Tamiflu is a medication given in the first 48 hours of having the flu is running already in short supply. It does not cure the flu and will only shorten the symptoms. Currently, Good RX states the medication costs about $130 US. It is recommended if you are sick, stay home. If you need to go out, consider wearing a mask to prevent the spread of germs and wash your hands frequently.
1. Cleaning to keep to break the chain of infection is helpful. Using Lysol spray and Clorox wipes on areas that cannot be cleaned well with soap and water. Both have been evidence-based researched to kill various strands of germs.
2. Keep hand gel in the car door to wash hands between transactions between drive thurs business. While alcohol hand gel is 99.9% effective, it is better than no hand washing.
3. Keep room temperatures warm but not roasting. Germs love hot areas and thrive. A general acceptable temperature is 72 degrees Fahrenheit that is heat beneficial and helps to inhibit germ growth.
