Do you double tap your scales?
You crawl out of bed and make your way to the bathroom. Your shambling walk, bedhead hair, and urgent need to void is overwhelming. You pass the mirror but your image is just a blur. After taking care of nature’s calls…you’d think she could just text…it is time. Time to wield your foot into action.
Gait still shambling, you thrust your foot forward, and push the scales out. Looks harmless. Is harmless. But terrifying as any horror movie. Time to double tap. You exhale and step onto the scale. After a few moments of indecision, the scale decides on a number, and presents it for your inspection. Not acceptable.
Time to double tap. You step off the scales. You wait. A zero or blank face appears. You breathe in, breathe out, and step on the scales for a second time. This time the decision is final. The number appears. This is acceptable.
But maybe, just maybe the best two out of three?
Perhaps it is time to begin focusing on your diet and exercise. If you are eating properly and exercising daily, the zombie weight will begin to resolve and daily double tapping will not be necessary.
