Wish you could be more supportive?
Life changing events happen to everyone and many of us want to be supportive. What are things you can do to be supportive?
1. Money. Sometimes an amount of money at the right time is a priceless gift. Example: gas money to get home. Priceless.
2. Time. Time is something many of us have to donate. Example: helping with a school event. Priceless.
3. Listening. Friends, family, and co-workers just need to vent sometimes. Just someone to listen to them is all they need. Example: listening to a friend who is frustrated with a job search. Priceless.
There are many other ways to be supportive and each way is coutured to the person’s needs. Sometimes just being there is all the support someone needs.
