#1 Trusted and Must Ask Permission to Work?
Nurses are the #1 trusted group of professionals in the US state. All 50 states. Yet, a Nurse Practitioner, Advanced Practice Nurse, with 7-8 years education, licenses, background checks, finger prints, still has to ask for permission to work in 30 of the 50 States in the US.
It is call Full Practice Authority when the other 20 States out of the 50 work but with the other 30 States, there is a need for a signed piece of paper by a physician. Permission.
Now do you ask permission if you can work? Because in the 30 States, if the Nurse Practitioners do NOT have the paper with one signature in place, Nurse Practitioners do NOT work. NOT FAIR.
