No Routine at the Gym?
First you have to go to the gym but what do you do when you get there? You hear about these rumored “gym routines” but how do you get one started and own it? There are several ways you can do this.
1. Talk with the gym personal. They can teach you how to use the equipment and decide what work out and how long to work out that works best for you.
2. You can focus on training for an event and doing the exercises that will get you ready, such as running a marathon, you are going to focus on exercises that will help you achieve this goal.
3. My favorite right now is what I call “Support the Military”. Currently, my oldest daughter has enlisted and is prepping for boot camp. We have both looked at how many situps (curl ups), pushups, and running 1.5 miles in x time for each of us. Our goal is to meet the goals listed for our ages. Lucky for me, as an older supporter, I get out of a few of those reps she has to do, but not many. View the link here to see what you would need to do to meet boot camp.
So here are a few ways to get a routine when you do make it to the gym. You do gym, right?
