Life is hectic, eating is on the go, and meals can be thrown together at the last minute. Not everyone has the time, lifestyle, or finances to eat as healthy as they should. What can you do to at least guarantee getting the necessary vitamins and minerals per day?
A daily multi-vitamin can help ensure that you are getting your necessary vitamins and minerals per day. This keeps your immune system on par. It may help prevent illness when traveling and when eating is sporadic.
Taking a multi-vitamin daily is excellent idea and there are several types on the market. Try to get a brand that has organic ingredients with as few preservatives as possible. Be aware of off brands due to the amount of minerals and vitamins may not be equal in each capsule or tablet within the same bottle.
Time to take the multi-vitamin can make a difference too. For those with queasy stomachs, taking the vitamin around noon and with food will help digestion and tolerance.
There is no replacement for good nutrition to get the correct vitamin and mineral intake but when you cannot, a supplement is acceptable.
