Exiting an appointment.
Now is the best time to make sure your next appointment is scheduled.
This will ensure your reservation/appointment at a convenient time and gives you more choice on when you can make it the next time. The closer to the appointment the less wiggle room for changes can be made.
Be sure to leave with all your identification, insurance cards, and any prescriptions or know which pharmacy the prescriptions have electronically sent to.
Give the pharmacy time to receive the prescriptions and fill them. Arriving too early to pick up medications may result in a longer wait than necessary.
This is also the time to check with the pharmacy to be sure medications and refills are the same as agreed with provider. Any additional information or education about medication should be given by pharmacy.
