Save Energy! Cover Up!
Cover it up! How many times have you heard your Mother, Father, Grandparent, Teacher, or another adult yell at you to cover it up? Put on your hat, coat, scarf, or shoes on? Just makes you want to roll your eyes don’t it? What do they know you don’t?
Did you know covering up areas where heat is leaving the body, traps the heat in, and keeps the core body temperature from fluctuating? This means that the body does not need more energy to keep the body the same temperature. Saves on energy. What does saving energy mean for your body? It means that the body can fight off illnesses, instead of focusing on trying to warm the body and fight off illness at the same time. Germs are dividing and conquering the body’s defenses. Germs are always on the attack. When germs begin winning and the individual gets sick. Germs gain access through uncovered portals in the body.
How can you keep the horde of germs at a distance? Wearing layers of clothes can keep one ready for any changes in temperature. This can prevent the individual from chilling or getting too hot. Preventing the individual from getting sick. Simply wearing hats, scarves, socks, gloves, and so forth, at the right time, can be just enough to keep body’s ability to fight off sickness in balance.
