Thanksgiving Expectations-Black Friday
It is that time of year when we take some time off to be with our families and give thanks for what we have. Unless it is Friday after Thanksgiving. Then, the expectations are different.
The day after expectations. A chance to get items at sell prices that are not offered any other time? A chance to get gifts with little to no money? A chance to get items and then resell at higher prices? A chance to get kickstart the Christmas season?
But didn’t we just give thanks the day before for everything we have?
Maybe start a new tradition. Don’t let marking and advertisement get you all wound up that you are in the mosh pit of black Friday sells. This year is seeing the biggest volumes of sells ever. Ever wonder why that happens? Many retailers make their sells for the entire year at this time. A good 70% do all their volume at this time of year. They want you in their stores. They want your money.
Ask yourself. Do you really need it? You kind of have to wonder, if you struggled to put Thanksgiving on the table, should you be in the stores for Black Friday?
