Freezing? Do Housework!
It is the time of year when it is starting to get colder than one can stand. Back in late October or early November, the furnace was turned on. Now it has gotten even colder. Turning up the heat will also mean emptying out the wallet of cold hard cash. What else could you do?
Plain and simple, housework.
1. Run the dishwasher. Leave the heat setting on.
2. Keep the laundry done up and the dryer running. There is nothing like warm towels and blankets at this time of year!
3. Heat up water on the stove. Moisture in the air helps heat the house.
These three easy tips will help heat up a home a few degrees without having to increase the thermostat for more heat.
